Frequently Asked Questions.

About Our Services

    • Our most common type of work is complete remodels that require all the different trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, paint, etc.), but that also means we are not afraid to take on any kind of project no matter how big. Our niche is your vision.

    • We do both! Whether your house has damage or is just dated, our passion is to restore your home to it’s full potential so it can serve you and your family's needs and lifestyle.

    • Yes! If it can be remodeled or restored, we can do it!

    • Yes! Depending on the size of the project, the design process will look different. The design is one of it not the most important step in any remodel process. This is where we listen to your vision and make sure we are on the same page with how you want the finished product to look and function. We do this through digital 3D renderings and as many conversations as it takes until you are completely happy with the design of the project. And it is completely FREE!

    • If you already have a vision and know all of the details of your project, we can make it come to life! All we ask is that you let us handle the purchasing and managing of materials. That way if there is a problem with anything, it is on us to solve it.

    • Yes, while there is certain commercial work we cannot do, we offer residential and commercial services.

    • We specialize in projects that have multiple components to them. We can do simpler jobs too, but if it requires more than one trade (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, paint, etc.), than that is our specialty.

    • We typically try and stay within 2 hours of our home base here in Lancaster County. But if you have a special project we are willing to make exceptions.

Processing & Planning FAQ’s

    • Each project’s process is a little bit different, but some things stay the same. We start with an initial conversation about your project and your vision and timeline. Then once we are on the same page with the vision and design of the project we will submit an estimate to you. Once that is approved, we will get started on your project within the next 2-4 weeks or whenever works with your schedule. After the construction is complete, we will do a final walkthrough with you to ensure you are satisfied with how your vision came to life.

    • That all depends on the specific project. A bathroom remodel can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks, and a kitchen remodel can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on the scope and size of the specific project.

    • Each project is designated a Project Manager who is your go to person through the course of construction. The Project Manager is responsible for carrying out the design and execution of your project. The designer, sales team member, and project manager will walk-through with you at the end of the project to make sure nothing was missed. Clarity is one of our core values and it is what keeps us all on the same page.

    • It is your house and we can’t tell you to not live there, however depending on the size of the project it may be more comfortable for you to stay somewhere else for a few days. Most people plan their projects around vacations or days they will be out of town so they are not inconvenienced by the work done in their home. Some smaller projects are not inconvenient at all.

    • That all depends on the scope of your project. If it does require a permit, we handle all of that. We have great relationships with the local townships and inspectors and they love coming onto our jobsites. Nothing will be completed that is not up to the latest building codes.

    • That depends on our schedule and the size of the project, but we typically start a project a minimum of 2 weeks after the deposit is received so we can schedule and order materials with even buffer as to not cause delays once we get started.

Cost & Payment FAQ’s

    • We accept Credit Card (with a processing fee), Cash, Check, or Bank Transfer (with a processing fee).

    • Yes, since there is often a lot of materials to be purchased, we require a 50% deposit to lock-in your project and so we can start ordering materials, then the remaining balance is due 30 days after the initial project is complete.

Materials & Craftsmanship FAQ’s

    • We do not allow our customers to provide their own materials.

    • One of our core values is “Grateful Partnerships” and we see each person involved in your remodel project as a partner. We have developed relationships with our subcontractors and suppliers over the past few years to build trust and quality as we work together to provide customers with the best product AND the best experience. Each person involved in your project upholds our core values and we do not compromise on those values because each person is working for the good of YOU, the customer.

    • While we can not guarantee that we can match exact styles and finishing we will do our best to match it to what you have, whatever we do we want it to look seamless and a part of what you have previously.

    • Check out our gallery here! You can also read testimonials on google here!

    • We always leave your home better than we found it. At the end of each day we will broom sweep the work area and any other areas where dust may have landed. Finally, when we are all done, we do a light dust mopping and wet mopping of your finished work area and any other areas that may have gotten dusty in the process.

    • Yes we do! All of our materials have their own warranties, and our work comes with a 1-Year Workmanship warranty. If anything doesn’t work correctly because we did not install it correctly, we will come back and fix it as soon as we can for up to 1 year after the project is complete. Just give us a call and we’ll come right out and make it right.

    • We are homeowners too, so we understand what it is like to hire a contractor. We see your home as our own and want to take care of it how we would want someone in our home to take care of it. We also want YOUR vision to come to life, not our own vision. But through the design process Your vision becomes OUR vision. What makes us different is that we genuinely care about YOU.
